Check out the best car shows that 2019 has to offer
Whether you’re into the latest and greatest car unveilings, adrenaline filled track days, the rediscovery of classics or simple, family outing fun – car shows in 2019 definitely won’t disappoint. Here’s some of the best events coming your way this year.
If your heart belongs to classic car shows – discover some of the world’s greatest models on display at ExCeL London, from the 14th of February through to the 17th. For four days, the best classic car manufacturers, clubs, collections and dealers will take residence at the event, allowing you to relive those golden years. If vintage cars are your thing, you’ll be in your element. Browse stands for quirky car products and memorabilia while watching some of the greatest vehicles of our time on display, vying in the centre track of the venue.
Sticking with London’s ExCeL for now, one of the best motor shows in the UK, the London Motor show comes to town in the middle of May. Now with a new name – The London Motor & Tech Show (LMTS) has rebranded to reflect the importance of new technology in the auto industry, and this year it’s set to be bigger and better than ever. This time around, you can expect to see some of the latest designs and innovations of car technology, along with exhilarating gaming simulators and adrenaline-charged driving experiences in the events’ ‘live drive arena’. Expect stunts, displays, audience participation, screeching tyres and much more!
If you’ve got a real need for speed, the Festival of Speed could be right up your street. From the 4th-7th of July, the world’s greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture takes place in the beautiful parkland surrounding GoodWood House in Chichester. Motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party gets you up close and personal to some of the most exhilarating cars and bikes available as they blast up the Hill-climb track; nowhere else will you give you such unrestricted access to the powerful machines and drivers who made them famous.
If something more family orientated is what you’re after this year, look no further than Car-Fest, a weekend crammed full of music, cars and family fun. With two locations to choose from, Cheshire in July or Hampshire in August, you’re guaranteed a weekend packed with as much 4 wheeled action as possible, including car club displays, dream rides in some of the most exclusive cars on countryside tracks and a car-nival more vibrant than Disneyland. Enjoy live samba, brass and steel bands, giant inflatables, crazy cars, extreme tractors and a truck load of glittery chaos to your hearts content.
