  • will I be able to use findandfundmycar.com if I have a poor or bad credit rating?

    Absolutely. You can use findandfundmycar.com to find your perfect car. It is unlikely that you would be eligible for finance with findandfundmycar.com if you know you have a poor or bad credit rating. However, our dealers will have other funding options for you, so simply contact the dealer once you find your perfect car and discuss funding with them directly.

  • I have completed a decision in principle, but have been declined - what else can I do?

    This would suggest you would not be eligible with MotoNovo Finance based on our current lending criteria. Please continue to search for your perfect car and then contact the dealer directly and explain the situation. They may have alternative funding options available from other finance providers that could accept you for finance.

  • what’s the difference between a HP and PCP agreement?

    MotoNovo Finance offer both HP and PCP finance agreements, if you need further information about either product please click here.

  • how do I apply for finance?

    Once you have found a vehicle on finance that fits your budget simply click ‘apply now’ next to your chosen quotation and follow the application process. As soon as a decision has been made the dealer will be in touch to let you know if your application was successful.

  • I’ve submitted my finance application, but not had any confirmation.

    If you’ve recently submitted a finance application, then it may still be under review by our team. As soon as a decision has been made the dealer will be in touch to let you know if you have been accepted or declined.

    If you have applied for finance outside of normal working hours, then the dealer may not be able to respond immediately. Please feel free to contact them to get your decision and finalise your purchase in the dealer’s normal working hours.

  • my finance application has been declined - what can I do now?

    When an application for finance is put forward to us it is subject to the relevant credit and underwriting checks. As a responsible lender we do have to ensure that when entering into a new agreement that not only is the agreement manageable for you, but also that you meet our lending criteria.

    Please speak to the dealer about the situation as they may have alternative funding options available for you to choose from.

  • I have a part exchange vehicle.

    Once you have found your perfect car, a part exchange valuation will need to be carried out by that dealer.

    If there is an outstanding balance to pay on the finance on your existing vehicle you will need to provide the dealership with an up to date settlement figure so they are aware of the outstanding amount to be paid.

    If you are a MotoNovo Finance customer you can request your settlement figure at any time by registering your details on MyMotoNovo. Once you have successfully registered and logged into your account select the agreement details tab. You will then have the option to request a settlement figure.

    The dealer will value your current vehicle and pay the value agreed to us directly. The finance that you currently have is secured against your vehicle; therefore, any shortfall that may occur due to the amount owed on finance would either need to be paid in full by you at that time or added to the new agreement. We cannot guarantee that any negative equity can be transferred; this would be subject to the new application.

    If the valuation of the vehicle is higher than what is outstanding on finance, then the dealer can deduct this from the new finance agreement by means of a deposit/part exchange value.

  • I am an existing MotoNovo Finance customer and I need to speak to someone with regards to my current agreement.

    For queries regarding the quality of your existing vehicle which is financed by MotoNovo Finance please contact the Vehicle Quality Team on 0333 200 0030* and press option 2 for customers and then press option 4 to get through to our vehicle quality department.

    If you are looking to make a payment on your existing agreement or if there has been a change in your circumstances please contact the Collections Team on 0333 200 0030* and press option 2 for customers and then press option 3 to get through to our collections team.

    For all other queries regarding your existing agreement please contact the Customer Service Team on 0333 200 0030* and press option 2 for customers and then press option 5 for all other enquiries.
