  • will I be able to use findandfundmycar.com if I have a poor or bad credit rating?

    While you can use findandfundmycar.com to find your next car, van or bike, it's unlikely that you would be eligible for finance if you know you have a poor or bad credit rating. However, our dealers will have other funding options for you, so contact the dealer once you find your dream set of wheels and discuss funding with them directly.

    Why not check your finance eligibility with us by using our quick decision in principle tool? You'll get an idea of whether you're likely to be accepted for finance by using a soft credit search which won't impact your credit file.

  • I have completed a decision in principle, but have been declined - what else can I do?

    As a responsible lender, MotoNovo Finance have to make sure that when entering a new agreement that it's not only manageable for you, but that you also meet the lending criteria. If you've been declined, it would suggest you would not be eligible with MotoNovo Finance. You can still look for your next set of wheels on findandfundmycar.com and get in touch with the dealership directly to explain your situation. They may have alternative funding options available from other finance providers that could accept you for finance.

  • what's the difference between a HP and PCP agreement?

  • how do I apply for finance?

    Once you've found a vehicle on finance that fits your budget, click 'apply now' next to your chosen quote and follow the application process. As soon as a decision has been made, the dealer will be in touch to let you know if your application was successful.

  • I've submitted my finance application, but not had any confirmation.

    If you've recently submitted a finance application, then it may still be under review by our team. As soon as a decision has been made, the dealer will be in touch to let you know if you have been accepted or declined.

  • my finance application has been declined - what can I do now?

    When an application for finance is put forward to us, it is subject to the relevant credit and underwriting checks. As a responsible lender, we do have to ensure that when entering into a new agreement that not only is the agreement manageable for you, but also that you meet our lending criteria.

    Please speak to the dealer about the situation as they may have alternative funding options available for you to choose from.

  • I have a part exchange vehicle - what do I need to do?

    Once you have found a motor to suit you, a part exchange valuation will need to be carried out by the dealership.

    If you still have finance to pay on your existing vehicle, you'll need to provide the dealership with an up to date settlement figure.

    If you're a MotoNovo Finance customer, you can request your settlement figure at any time by registering your details on MyMotoNovo. Once you've registered and logged into your account, select the agreement details tab and request a settlement figure.

    The dealer will value your current vehicle and pay the value agreed to us directly. The finance that you currently have is secured against your vehicle; therefore, any shortfall that may occur due to the amount owed on finance would either need to be paid in full by you at that time or added to the new agreement. We cannot guarantee that any negative equity can be transferred; this would be subject to the new application.

    If the valuation of the vehicle is higher than what is outstanding on finance, then the dealer can deduct this from the new finance agreement by means of a deposit/part exchange value.

  • I'm a current MotoNovo Finance customer and need to speak to someone about my agreement.

    If you need to make a payment or your financial circumstances have changed, please contact the Collections Team on 0333 200 0030* and press option 2 for customers and then press option 3 to get through to our Collections Team.

  • I'm a current MotoNovo customer; can I view my agreement and make changes online?

    You can access your agreement through the MyMotoNovo website portal or app where you can:

    • Check your settlement figure
    • Make payments
    • Update your personal details
    • Change your payment date
    • Access exclusive discounts through Discount Shopping
